Dacia sells Renault engineering one generation behind at a much lower price, which is exactly why these hold up. There's very little complexity to go wrong, and the 1.5 dCi under the bonnet is the most-produced small diesel in Europe. So the buying job is condition and history rather than mechanical archaeology.
