Engine and component issues
Misfire, rough running, intermittent injector codes that move between cylinders. The wiring loom to the pump-duse injectors runs under the rocker cover and chafes with age and heat.
Check: Scan for injector codes; intermittent faults that wander between cylinders point at the loom rather than the injectors.
