Land Rovers of this era are capable and expensive to keep, and the gap between a maintained one and a neglected one is enormous. Electrical faults and driveline wear dominate the fault lists, while the engines themselves mostly come from Ford and PSA. Buy the one with the thickest folder, because there's no cheap way out of a bad example.
