Brand-wide ownership notes
Small Fiats are the cheapest way into a car that's still pleasant to own, and the mechanical parts cost very little. The weak points are electrical and trim rather than structural, so a tired interior tells you more here than the odometer does. Rust on the older shells is what actually ends these, and it's the check that decides most examples.

| 312 | hatchback | 2007–2015 | A city car sold on charm that turned out to be genuinely good at the job. It's tiny, light and cheap to run, and the driving position suits town work better than any rival. |
