Brand-wide ownership notes
Mazda built the best-driving car in this class and then undermined it in two ways. The bodies of this era corrode earlier than their Japanese reputation suggests, particularly around the arches and sills, and the diesels have a genuine record of trouble. The petrols are simple and durable. So a tidy petrol Mazda 6 is a bargain and a cheap diesel one usually is not.
