What happens
Symptom. A rumble or whine that changes as you select different gears, worst in fifth and sixth, and eventually a whine under load in every gear.
Cause. The M32 runs a small oil volume and its end bearings wear, which lets the shafts move and destroys the gear teeth. The factory never scheduled an oil change, so most of these have run their whole lives on the original fill.
